ABOUT ME
I’ve been in love with the ocean for as long as I can remember. Surfing isn’t just a sport for me; it’s a way of life that’s taken me from competing on a global platform, to helping others find their own joy on the waves.
I’ve been representing Scotland internationally since 2014 and am proud to hold five Scottish Women’s Surfing Champion titles. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to partner with some incredible brands that share my passion for the outdoors and sustainability, including my current position as a brand ambassador for both Patagonia and Mango Surf Shop. These partnerships align with my values and allow me to combine my love for surfing with a commitment to protecting the environment and our ocean landscape.
Coaching has been a part of my life since I was 16 years old. With over 13 years of experience, I hold an ISA Level 2 certificate and surf lifeguard qualification. I’ve worked with surfers of all abilities, from first-timers catching their first waves to young athletes developing their skills as part of the Scottish Junior Team. As a consistent coach at the North Shore Surf Club and beyond, I’ve had the privilege of fostering talent and confidence in others, which is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do.
Beyond the surf, I bring a unique perspective to coaching thanks to my background in primary teaching. I’ve worked extensively with children, which has helped me develop the patience, creativity, and adaptability to tailor my coaching to each individual’s needs. Whether you’re young or young at heart, my goal is to make surfing accessible, fun, and empowering for everyone.
Ultimately, my passion is sharing my knowledge, experience, and love for surfing with those eager to learn.
Whether you’re looking to take your next steps as an intermediate surfer or refine your technique and push for new skills as a seasoned regular, I’m here to guide you, cheer you on, and help you find your spot in the line up.
